The sidebar items can only be added in the right column.
Choose a theme which has the possibility to provide a sidebar, for example TU Delft Theme – Sidebar Only Homepage. To change the theme: Settings > Website > Theme.
Example items that you can add to the sidebar right column:
- Browse Block for categories
- Make a submission button
- A button to any page
- Announcements
- A button to a static page
- A twitter feed
- Keyword cloud
- Most read articles
- An image with a hyperlink
How to add an item to the sidebar:
- Go to Settings > Website > tab Appearance > Setup > Sidebar
- Check the box of the item you want to add. You can also change the order of the sidebar items.
If the item you want to add to the sidebar is not there:
- Go to Settings > Website > tab Plugins
- check the box of the plugin you want to add:
