SCOPUS

In addition to the DOAJ requirements, your journal needs to have the following to maximise the chance of being included in Scopus:

  • A publication history of at least 2 years
  • An ethics and malpractice statement
  • Sufficient geographical diversity of authors and editors
  • Journal’s publications are cited by other journals already indexed by Scopus

Go to the Pre-evaluation of Scopus submission to check if your journal is ready for Scopus.

In consultation with the editorial board of your journal, TU Delft OPEN will handle your Scopus application.

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Scopus increases the visibility and discoverability of your content which contributes to the reputation of your journal, fosters collaboration and boosts the chance of authors of securing funding.
